General

How do I use toothpaste tablets?

Chew a toothtab until it becomes paste-like. Brush with a wet toothbrush (as you normally would), rinse, and smile! Brush twice a day, everyday.

What is a toothpaste tablet?

Think of it as a solid and more natural version of toothpaste that is in the form of a zero waste (plastic-free & fully compostable) tablet.

How many toothpaste tablets are in each refill pouch?

Each refill pouch contains 62 toothtabs.

Are toothpaste tablets safe for kids?

Yes! Our toothtabs are completely safe for kids and adults alike. We recommend crushing the toothtab into powder and applying it on a toothbrush for kids less than three years old. These toothtabs are a choking hazard for children less than three years old.

Are toothpaste tablets safe for pets?

NO! Please keep the toothtabs away from your cute fur balls. Our toothtabs contain Xylitol, an ingredient that is extremely toxic to animals, but works wonders for humans.

Ingredients

What are toothpaste tablets made of?

Check out our ingredients page here.

Allergen Info: Eucalyptus Mint & Charcoal Mint both contain coconut.

What is Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate?

This is responsible for our toothtab's rich foam and is derived from coconut oil. It is a much gentler and safer replacement for SLS due to its inability to penetrate skin cells.

Does Huppy's toothpaste tablets contain palm oil?

Yes, our magnesium stearate (vegan) contains palm oil that has been harvested sustainably in accordance to the Roundtable on Sustainable Oil’s (RSPO) rigorous environmental and social criteria. These criteria help minimize the negative impact of palm oil cultivation on the environment and communities in palm oil-producing regions. Palm oil is versatile and highly efficient to grow and manufacture. Therefore, boycotting palm oil will lead to a greater demand for other less efficient vegetable oil plants that can cause greater environmental damage. We believe that supporting certified sustainable palm oil will better protect rain forests than boycotting palm oil entirely.
