Our tablets are made with clean ingredients, but like traditional toothpaste, they’re not meant to be swallowed. Spit after brushing and rinse as you normally would.

Nope. Instead of fluoride, we use nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HA), a dentist-recommended ingredient that helps remineralize enamel, reduce sensitivity, and fight cavities — all without harsh chemicals.

Yes! The chewable format makes brushing fun and easy for kids. For children under 3, however, the tablets can pose a choking hazard. We recommend crushing the tablet and dipping a wet toothbrush into the powder as a safer option. For ages 3 and up, we still suggest supervising brushing to help build good habits and prevent accidental swallowing.

No — our tablets are not safe for pets. While xylitol is great for strengthening and protecting human teeth, it’s extremely toxic to dogs and other animals. Even small amounts can be dangerous, so please store your tablets out of reach of pets and avoid brushing their teeth with human toothpaste of any kind — ours included. We love our furry friends and want to keep them safe!

Some natural variation is totally normal — since Huppy doesn’t use artificial dyes or brighteners, tablets can range from white to off-white or slightly creamy in color. Occasionally, you might also spot a frosty or fuzzy coating — that’s just natural menthol recrystallizing on the surface and it’s completely safe. A quick shake will break it up.

If your tablets feel soft, sticky, or have turned yellow or brown, they’ve likely been exposed to moisture or humidity. Be sure to keep your lid tightly closed and store your tablets in an airtight container between uses. Just like a traditional toothbrush, we recommend replacing it every 3 months or after illness. It’s a simple, effective way to reduce plastic without sacrificing oral health.

Yes. We use soft bristles that are gentle on gums and enamel, while still giving a thorough, effective clean.

Snap off the bristles before composting. The bamboo handle is home compostable, while the castor bean bristles need industrial composting or can be sent to a specialty recycling program like TerraCycle. Still way better than tossing a full plastic toothbrush in the trash!

Each glass bottle and refill spool includes 30 meters (about 33 yards) of floss — enough for roughly 2 months of daily use. When you're done, just drop in a refill and keep your routine going, sustainably.

We offer free shipping on all U.S. orders over $30. For orders under that, a small flat-rate shipping fee applies.

Yes, we do! We're proud to support our military customers and ship to APO and FPO addresses.
